About Hydrogen Media
Hydrogen Media was founded in 2007 by Sparrow Hall. It’s mission: to bring to life a deeper, richer experience with literature. Hall developed Hydrogen’s “digital collection” publishing platform that reinvents the way we engage with a story.
A narrative is organic. Its nature is to grow.
Treating literature as a continuing narrative, a digital collection allows a reader to connect with a story through multiple channels (text, music, motion pictures, art)—providing a deeper, richer experience with the story, and one that can be joined through further interpretations.
A story can have the power to heal.
In 2009, Hydrogen Media will release Sparrow Hall’s Two Blue Wolves Digital Collection, including original compositions by members of Stellastarr*, The Hourly Radio, A Crowd Electric, Elefant, ArpLine, Ana Lola Roman and more. 15% of every sale will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to go towards research and caregiver support (the disease plays a central role in the story).
Outside of his commitment to Alzheimer’s awareness and research, Sparrow Hall has served as a creative consultant for Bono's Product (RED)™ initiative, helping to eliminate AIDS in Africa, and Orphans of Rwanda, dedicated to furthering education, economic development and social reconciliation.
